The house
Staying in the house
The three-storey main building offers accommodation across seven elegantly furnished rooms with ensuites. The residence sleeps a maximum of 32 people. All bedrooms are located on the first and second floors of the house, with rooms sharing a hall and balcony that overlook the river and gardens.
All rooms are stylishly furnished and feature a comfortable twin/double bed and a sofa bed for occasional use.

The house and shared spaces
The whole of the accessible ground floor was conceived to be a large social room and a dining room in one, connected to a professionally equipped kitchen. If you believe cooking to be a social activity, preparing your meals in our kitchen will be yet another extraordinary experience. Everything is designed in such a way that the whole ground floor also serves as the backdrop to outdoor activities, with a garden kitchen and grill provided.
The barn
Opposite the main Tauhaus building lies the original renovated barn with a generous footprint (around 90 m²), which can be used as a social space, a children’s play room, workout area, dance floor, or even a cinema. It is all down to our guests and their reason for visiting.
Sauna and other special features
The generously sized sauna with an indoor and a discreet outdoor spa always delivers a special experience. The pizza oven, part of the central tiled oven with stove and fireplace, makes it all worthwhile. For a little musical distraction in the evening, there is a piano available to guests.
The gardens also include a private entrance to the river, a grassy play area for ball sports (volleyball/football tennis), a children’s slide, sand pit, table tennis table, hammocks, slackline, a large firepit, teepee, plus other amusements and outdoor games for both children and adults.
Glamping by the river
Experience an extraordinary closeness to nature by spending the night in our luxurious caravan, located in the gardens. It adds a further three beds to Tauhaus’ capacity, taking it up to 35 guests. It goes without saying that the caravan features stylish furnishings, a kitchenette, and a small bathroom and toilet.
